NWCC Neighborhood Information
The Resident Resources page provides homeowners with convenient access to important community information, local government services, and helpful neighborhood resources. Here you will find City of Houston contacts, Houston 311 information, trash and recycling services, utility resources, emergency contacts, and other information to help you enjoy and maintain your home in Nottingham West.
GFL provides trash and recycling collection services for our community.
Regular household trash is collected on Tuesdays and Fridays between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Recycling and heavy trash are collected on Fridays only. Garbage containers must hold fewer than 50 gallons and weigh less than 45 pounds when placed at the curb. Please do not leave bags of trash at the curb overnight, as they may attract rodents, raccoons, and opossums.
Grass clippings do not need to be placed in biodegradable bags. Tree and shrub branches must be cut into four-foot lengths and bundled for collection.
Each household is provided with one recycling container. Please refer to GFL’s list of accepted recyclable materials for information about approved items.
To schedule a pickup for oversized heavy items or ask about an additional recycling container, contact GFL at 281-368-8397.
Farmer's Market in Energy Corridor was launched in April 2017 and EVERY 3rd SATURDAY 2pm to 6 pm

City of Houston Links & Info
NWCC has partnered with the Precinct 5 Constable’s Office to provide patrol services throughout our neighborhood. For non-emergency assistance or to report suspicious activity or security concerns, please call Precinct 5 Dispatch at 281-463-6666. Always call 911 in an emergency.
The Constable’s Office recommends listing Precinct 5 as the first contact for your home security system, as deputies may be able to respond more quickly than the Houston Police Department.
Residents may also request a vacation watch when traveling or schedule an in-home security audit, which may qualify them for a homeowner’s insurance discount. To receive NWCC security email alerts, please email nottinghamwestcivicclub@gmail.com.
