Deputy constables are highly visible in our neighborhood patrolling
in marked vehicles day and night. Please call on suspicious persons
or vehicles, disturbances, etc. When in doubt, call!
Alarm Notification
Please verify that
your alarm company contacts Precinct Five Dispatcher as Primary
and Houston Police Dept. as Secondary. Response times are much
shorter because deputies are already nearby.
Caution: Do not enter a home with an alarm sounding. Anyone found in the home is subject to deputies drawing their weapons. Wait outside and identify yourself to deputies first.
Vacation Watch
Call the dispatcher
and request a vacation watch or go to the Harris County Constable website and download a Vacation Watch form to mail or fax in. A deputy constable will visit and take your information if you request. Your home is checked daily. Home burglaries are extremely rare in Nottingham West and this is one reason
why.

Home Security Surveys
This service is provided
to help homeowners better secure their home. When a home passes
a home security survey, the homeowner is eligible to receive
a discount on their homeowner’s insurance rates.
The Constable provides this service at no cost to the homeowner. To schedule a deputy for your home security survey, call the dispatcher and request a home security survey. The supervisor in charge of the crime prevention section will call you to schedule the appointment.
